Over the past year I’ve become painfully aware that most of today’s internet is only for rent (which is one of the reasons I created my own website). Therefor, I have decided to start collecting physical media again so that the things I care about and are important can't be taken away from me.

+I've decided to start reading books again. I loved reading books as a kid, but after the inception of youtube, netflix etc I basically stopped reading. Sure, I've read some books here and there over the last 15-20 years. But, I think I can count them on one hand. So, my goal for 2025 is to read more books instead of watching tv-shows, youtube etc.

+I found out that Bill Gates read a lot of books (around 50 a year) and he has this [article](https://www.gatesnotes.com/books/books-home-topic/reader/holiday-books-2024) about some interessting books for the christmas holiday of 2024. So I'm basically using this an an inspiration for my starting point.
